Editorial policy
Flourishing Journal aims to be clear about what it knows, what it argues and what remains open to interpretation. We write for general readers and do not present our coverage as professional advice.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual claims against suitable sources, use careful wording and distinguish established information from interpretation or opinion. When a topic is contested or context-dependent, we say so rather than implying that one account settles it. We do not invent evidence, quotations or credentials.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are made separately from partnership arrangements. Any paid, sponsored or partner-produced material is clearly identified where it appears; a commercial relationship does not guarantee editorial coverage or a favourable view. We do not present advertising as independent editorial work.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error or misleading passage, use the Contact page and identify the article and the specific point. We review substantiated concerns and correct or clarify material when warranted. A correction should make the change understandable rather than quietly obscure it.
Images and illustrations
Illustrations may be created with AI tools. Where an image is AI-generated, we label it accordingly. Images are illustrative and should not be mistaken for evidence of a real person, event or place.
Flourishing has many dimensions
A life can be meaningful without being easy, and growth does not follow one timetable. We look at the ideas and everyday conditions that make room for people to participate and develop.
